Yavapai County has been harassing rural citizens about permits and unreasonable codes all in an attempt to get more tax (money). Today a Yavapai county building inspector was driving around in a county vehicle on private and privately maintained roads with two non uniformed, heavily armed deputies, in street clothes. They crossed clearly posted private property. The resident of one of the properties asked why they where there, what their purpose was. The answer was clear and to the point. One of the two officers, both dressed in street clothes, came out of the back seat carrying an M-16 assault rifle. The officer with the assault rifle stated clearly 'they were driving around hoping someone would dare to question them and challenge their bogus authority. It was beyond obvious their hope was a land owner would respond to the threat of the officers, (in street clothes don't forget), with a threat of their own giving the officers opportunity to respond with deadly force!! Is this sick or what??!! This was said, by the way, with gleeful Anticipation!! Unbelievable!! Again folks, this really did happen!

Yavapai County has been increasing the demand for more money by increasing taxes, clearly inflating property assessments and trying to enforce totally and plainly stupid codes. All the while telling us, 'in this part of the country, since we are on non county, privately maintained, dirt roads with no infrastructure they may continue to tax us but are not responsible for supplying services'. So what was it we are paying for???
Yavapai Co has actually been using bullying and threatening tactics to try and intimidate citizen & legal property owners into submission. It is without question to many of the landowners on several of our out lying ranches that our county officials, Carol Springer and sheriff Department are dangerous!! To add insult to injury these very people are paid by us, the tax payers!
Many have formed grass roots organizations to put a stop to this outrageous behavior on the part of Carol Springer, county officials and sheriff. This apparently has ticked off Carol Springer and her goons. It is time to recall our corrupt county government and bring in intelligent, responsible trust worthy citizens to replace the crooked self-serving ones that are currently handling our money
